With the warm days in Newton the buds of the Magnolia Stellata in our garden were ready to open up. But I could not see the flowering tree because I had to leave for the airport......Arriving today in Paris - here the star shaped flowers already had unfolded and were spreading their fragrant smell. What a welcome committee!
